Aquatic Mosaic
Break a favorite tea cup and reincarnate it into a work of art!
Each participant will create their own unique design in this
beginner mosaic class. We will use tiles, glass, seashells
and perhaps your favorite tea cup to create a visually
beautiful mosaic fish. All materials needed are included in
the registration fee. This includes wood fish, tiles, mosaic
pieces, adhesives, grout and use of tile nippers and goggles.

Belly Dancing
The Beginner class is designed to give ladies an introduction
to Middle Eastern Dance. In our 3 hour class we will learn
basic movements with our heads, arms, shoulders, ribs and

history of Middle Eastern Dance.

FOODSAFE online
FOODSAFE is accessible online and available to anyone
who has access to a modern computer and internet connection.
The FOODSAFE course is traditionally offered in an
eight hour face-to-face course but is now also conveniently
available online through a partnership with Open School BC http://www.openschool.bc.ca/foodsafe
Supervision of online test and access to a computer
will be provided by Drumheller Further Education
Council (DDFEC) by appointment. Starting Feb 1/09,
DDFEC will provide a computer for individuals to take the
instruction on line at no cost. (by appointment) Note that
fees for the course will need to be paid directly to BC Open
School as per instructions in their website. ($125)
FOODSAFE Level 1 - online
Level 1 provides practical training for new employees to the foodservice industry.
FOODSAFE Level 2 - online eta Summer 2009
Level 1 & 2 combined is equivalent to a managerial training and is equivalent to Alberta Certificate in Food Sanitation and Hygiene.
