Family
Literacy
Family literacy
is the many ways families learn together, to develop reading and
writing skills for the parent and the child.
Learning activities need to start at birth to ensure success during
the school years and to develop a love of learning for life. Activities
for learning starts with talking, singing, reading, exploring
literacy in different environments and having fun. As the child
grows activities can be adapted for all ages and used within the
family for all members. Know someone who would like help with
their family literacy skills?
For further information see our Community Brochure ( 2 times a
year).
