Sponsorship Fund

The Drumheller & District Further Education Council believes in encouraging life-long learning for all community members. This includes those who may be feeling financially strapped or earning a minimal income. We work to remove barriers so that all of Drumheller's adults are able to reach their highest potential. If you would like to take a class, but are experiencing financial obstacles, please contact us for options. Those with financial need may be eligible for funding from our Learner's Sponsorship Program.

Individuals may apply an unlimited number of times, but funding received cannot be more that $100 per year. Funding is provided in the form of free or discounted tuition and has no other monetary value. Applications are received on a first come first served basis. Limited funding is available, so apply early. All applications will be kept confidential.

The Drumheller & District Further Education Council is also now offering a 10% discount on tuition to Seniors in our community. Be sure to ask for this discount when registering for your courses.
